This is a hybrid role in Plantation, FL.
Position Summary
As a Product Manager, you will have responsibility for one or more products throughout their entire life cycle. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build
products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Must observe appropriate quality, safety and environmental procedures, practices and work instructions at all times.
• Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
• Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Technical, Engineering and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product definition and positioning.
• Support Product Marketing in developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
• Market Definition - Map needs with target markets and analyze the market segments to actively pursue. Ensure that the targeted segments are large enough to support the current and future business of the product.
• Business Plan - Perform an objective analysis of a potential market opportunity to provide a basis for investment. Articulate what you learned in the market and quantify the risk, including a financial model.
• Product Roadmap - Illustrate the vision and key phases of deliverables for the product. The roadmap is a plan, not a commitment.
• Requirements - Articulate and prioritize personas and their problems so that the appropriate products can be built.
• User Personas - Define the archetypical users of your product.
• Use Scenarios - Illustrate market problems in a "story" that puts the problem in context. Use scenarios are one component of requirements.
• Product Profitability - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or 8 equivalent years of relevant experience.
• 5 years' experience of product management and information technology marketing.
• Knowledge of information technology security and product management.
• Technical security understanding.
• Market segment appreciation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other preferred skills include,
• Knowledge of Thales CSP products.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good team working skills.
• Implementation of the Pragmatic Marketing Framework.
• Information Technology Security.
Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods working on a computer.
