E-Commerce Product Counsel

About the Team:

We are looking for a lawyer to support our rapidly growing e-commerce business teams. Our legal team provides support to all aspects of TikTok Shop. We are looking for talented, humble, and globally-minded attorneys who are technically savvy, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are strong team players.



Responsibilities:

You will join a team that is dedicated to delivering excellent stakeholder service to achieve pragmatic solutions for the business. In doing so, you will:  

- Work with legal and product teams globally to review products, features, and new initiatives to provide legal risk mitigation strategies to ensure legal compliance for TikTok Shop from a US legal perspective.

- Coordinate with product, product operations, public policy, communications, and other cross-functional colleagues.  

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of TikTok Shop initiatives through legal review and providing guidance on relevant legal frameworks.

- Review and analyze potential legal risks associated with new product developments and business strategies.

- Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

- Provide legal support on a variety of e-commerce related matters.
