Team/Role Overview

The International Conformance Testing Team within Finance organization is responsible for executing the regulatory conformance testing to ensure that Citi’s businesses and products are reported in compliance with relevant regulatory reporting requirements. Additionally, the team drives control excellence efforts by providing support to Regulatory reporting teams in various control related aspects.

The role will involve extensive interaction with the Regulatory reporting team and a variety of other functions within the organization including Policy, Risk, IT, Legal, Business, so the candidate will need to possess good communication skills.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate and monitor control oversight activities across Hungary Regulatory CSC team, including support in relation to key controls, such as monthly submission calendar activities incl. key performance indicator calculation

• Monitor issue and corrective action plan status and provide administrative support

• Facilitate knowledge sharing through regular control forum

• Perform periodic testing and validation of relevant regulatory rules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and reporting changes are timely captured and correctly implemented

• Help implement a remediation plan to address issues identified during the validation

• Maintain and enhance control environment applicable to the framework and infrastructure of the International Conformance Testing program

• Ensure that procedures, process notes and manuals are up-to-date and applied correctly, provide support to internal/external audit reviews

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues

• Liaise effectively with multiple departments (including Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Risk and Technology) on a regular basis

• Proactively identify, escalate, and assist in resolving issues identified through the periodic review and control oversight exercises

• Participate in projects to implement any new or changing regulatory and/or policy requirements and enhancing the International Conformance Testing team’s framework and infrastructure

• Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance

• Deliver ad hoc risk and control related tasks as instructed by your manager

What we’ll need from you

• Bachelor’s/University degree in Finance Accounting or Economics

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in banking accounting / reporting / controlling / risk and controls area

• Fluent English language skills is a must 

• Knowledge of main regulatory reporting rules and instructions, Finance processes and controls

• Interpret the regulations and build offline models to compare to production regulatory rules and calculations

• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, would be beneficial
