We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to drive our business growth by promoting and selling our comprehensive suite of cybersecurity engineering services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cybersecurity, possess a strong understanding of technology sales, and excel in building and nurturing client relationships.
About the Role:
- Security Consultants work from remote/virtual when not visiting client locations
- Serve as our Clients’ primary technical point of contact throughout a project life cycle
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operationalizing security controls across a wide range of IT and enterprise business systems
- Proficiency in multiple security technologies, including but not limited to: Next-Gen Firewalls, DLP, SASE, NAC, PAM, EDR, NDR, SIEM, APPSEC, CWPP, CSPM, etc.
- Proficiency with networking security concepts such as routing, segmentation, zones, NAT, etc.
- Understand and articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to autonomously prioritize and successfully deliver across a portfolio of projects in a fast paced environment
- Author comprehensive business and technical collateral to support the business that is proficiently tailored to both technical and managerial audiences
Responsibilities:
- Services Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence for cybersecurity engineering services.
- Client Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in target industries to understand their cybersecurity needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our cybersecurity engineering services and articulate their value proposition effectively to potential clients.
- Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals showcasing our services, highlighting their benefits, and addressing client-specific security concerns.
- Collaborative Selling: Collaborate closely with consulting and engineering technical teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and proposed solutions.
- Documentation Standardization - Lead presales documentation standardization efforts to refine services SOWs, collateral and GTM for core services offerings.
- Services Pipeline Management: Manage the services pipeline, track progress, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity to identify new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring exceptional post-sales support.
- Core Vendor Alignment - foster and grow relationships with sales, SE and services team at core GPS vendors to position our value add and drive mindshare to capture more services and product opportunities.
- Sales enablement - lead program of continuous enablement for Mid-Atlantic sales and solutions architect team to improve AE/AM knowledge of core services offerings including positioning/past-performance/differentiators.
- Services offering development – work collabaratively with practice directors and engineering teams to create compelling and repeatable service offerings to address client needs.
Experience, Education, and Technical Experience required:
- Minimum 10 years in an enterprise level security consultative role building and assessing Information Security architectures and programs
- Prior experience in a corporate operational or technical leadership role
- Prior experience in a client facing pre-sales and consulting role
- Minimum of 5 years of technical professional services scoping and leadership experience
- Experience with security products from Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Check Point, Tenable, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Splunk, CyberArk, Checkmarx, Contrast, Veracode, etc
- Prior experience positioning and scoping fixed fee, time and materials, as a service and managed security projects for enterprise and mid-market clients
- Experience with security and deploying complex environments into AWS,
