As our new Construction Project Manager, you will be part of our Advanced Manufacturing Project Management team working on projects throughout the United States. you may be asked to work on specific projects throughout the US. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day mechanical construction management on the project.
- To plan, develop and organize the mechanical construction to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution.
- Responsible for implementation of the scope of work on construction/fabrication, pre-commissioning
- Attend daily meetings as lead for mechanical scope.
- Ensure that all key mechanical work milestones and deliveries are met, and coordinate the rental, placement, and storage of materials, tools, and supplies.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors installation work daily to insure they are maintaining their installation schedule, support system startup and commissioning activities.
- Interpretation of construction documents, control sequences and technical manuals.
- Run startup meetings involving area Construction Managers, design team members, system start up activities, multiple subcontractors
- Interface between Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors to assist in coordinating mechanical and electrical system startups.
- Verify all documentation is complete and equipment being prepared for startup is construction complete and can be safely started.
- Receiving and distributing requests for information (RFI) and change in scope documents issued by other team members.
- Assist in estimating mechanical budgets.
- Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented.
- Secure mechanical subcontractor and equipment buyout.
- Manage mechanical subcontractor contracts and contract modifications
- Assist with managing mechanical project staffing
- Oversee billing and schedule of values for mechanical subcontractors and vendors.
- Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management
- Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
- Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.

- 20 + years’ experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects.
- 15 + years of experience in the mechanical trades with specialty
- At least a bachelor’s deg
