Senior Financial Analyst

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst who is detail-oriented, strategically-minded and naturally curious to help foster the continued growth of our business. This role’s responsibilities include assisting with month and year-end close processes, financial planning and forecasting, account analysis, and other ad-hoc financial projects.

 The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated and have ability to multitask and efficiently execute deliverables; be independent and able to dive deep into data to translate into meaningful analysis; have strong oral and written communication skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes; can think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Support management with month-end close, monthly forecast and annual budgeting processes
  • Prepare content acquisitions program rights schedules and update monthly forecasts
  • Prepare Programming & Entertainment cashflow schedules and update monthly forecasts
• Assist in preparation of monthly operational reviews
• Prepare Balance Sheet for monthly review and quarterly fluxes
  • Prepare quarterly deliverables reports
• Manage revenue from royalties and talent licensing deals
• Prepare quarterly music royalty payouts
• Prepare billing requests for designated projects
• Work in partnership with operations team to coordinate vendors’ payments
• Additional projects and functions as delegated by department management, including ad hoc requests

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years experience in accounting/finance
• Advanced Microsoft Office program (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Preferred knowledge of Oracle applications (PBCS)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to identify issues and solve problems effectively
• Team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated success with systems and data visualization tools
• Must be able to work well independently and take ownership of projects
