Developmental Pathways (DP has an opportunity for a Case Management Specialist - Early Intervention in our Early Intervention Department. This role will be responsible for professional-level administrative support to a variety of roles and work processes. This Case Management Specialist -Evaluations will develop and maintain systems of organization, distribution, and communication. Providing additional case management support to Case Managers including implementing, promoting, and maintaining effective and efficient processes and operations across departments. In addition, this role will assist and support staff with the administrative execution of their job duties. Communicates in an appropriate, effective, and respectful manner with persons served, supervisors, other staff, agencies, and organizations; maintains persons served confidentiality. They possess strong organization, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication     This is a 40-hour per week, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, hybrid position, with the benefit of working remotely and in-person coming into our headquarters office in Aurora, CO and/or off-site locations.

    Requirements  
  • High School Diploma or GED
  Preferred  
  • Associate’s Degree in business and/or equivalent education and experience
  • Three years (3) administrative support or customer service experience
  • Experience in human services or nonprofit fields
  • Knowledge of Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment

Additional Responsibilities  
  • Research participants’ Medicaid coverage and provides administrative support with waiver enrollments; submits appropriate paperwork to Medicaid for waiver enrollments and ongoing Medicaid coverage

  • Analyzes work completed to identify and report on trends

  • Provides professional-level feedback and follow-up to other professional-level staff regarding mistakes or missed steps in Department processes and procedures

  • Calculates all support levels and communicates changes to providers, evaluators, and other pertinent staff
