About the role

Who we are:

PolyAI builds enterprise voice assistants that carry on natural conversations with customers to solve their problems. Our voice assistants understand customers, regardless of what they say or how they say it. We serve enterprises where customer conversation is an important part of doing business. Our customers include some of the leading names in banking, hospitality, insurance, retail, and telecommunications.

Our enterprise clients deploy PolyAI voice assistants to cut down on wait times and free up live staff to focus on calls requiring empathy and judgment. As a result, our enterprise clients see improved customer satisfaction, employee retention and operational efficiency.

We are hiring a Senior Legal & Business Operations Manager (US) to support our recently formed Legal & Business Operations team. Legal & Business Operations at PolyAI encompasses an in-house legal function, as well as both a legal operations function and a business operations function, with 2 full-time team members currently based in the UK, including our Vice President of Legal & Business Operations. Due to our US focus and ever-increasing US client base, we are expanding the team with a full-time hire in the US. You will have the option of working at our New York office or remotely in the United States.

The salary range for this role is $95,000-$115,000. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to lend any sponsorship support and required a United States Citizen.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Legal & Business Operations.

  • Partnering with every function across the business on a wide range of matters, risk-spotting and proactively identifying solutions aimed at eliminating or mitigating any perceived risks.
  • Reviewing and/or drafting basic contracts, corporate documents (e.g., board resolutions) and policies.
  • Improving and designing internal workflows, conducting research into appropriate tools to eradicate inefficiencies and enable PolyAI’s growth, collaborating with PolyAI’s Revenue Operations teams as required.
  • Supporting our Chief Operating Officer with the coordination and monitoring of PolyAI’s objectives and key results, and other strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Assisting with general contract management, corporate governance and general administrative matters, including procurement and client-side vendor onboarding.
  • Working closely with PolyAI’s compliance team on general compliance, risk and data protection and privacy matters.
  • Assisting with building internal knowledge resources and training initiatives, including contract templates and playbooks, contract trackers and more.
