LMI is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong experience to be part of an agile team that is designing and developing a complex, enterprise level Generative AI tools as part of a robust, innovation-oriented platform.

Responsibilities
- Work as part of an Innovation and R&D focused team to design and develop products that serve a wide variety of customers.
- Work with team members to design and use existing innovative software programs that improve and simplify generative AI processes for internal and external customers.
- Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms.
- Meet with managers and representatives of various government and military agencies to discuss software issues and brainstorm methods of solving existing problems.
- Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements.
- Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended.
- Update and debug existing systems to ensure a smooth user experience and a uniform look across a variety of platforms.
- Champion new technology and enterprise level product solutions as part of a LMI’s innovation team.
- Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our software systems.
- Experience and willingness to learn how to deploy and manage application with a DevSecOps mindset.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5+ years’ experience with DevSecOps principles
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience programming in at least one of the following languages: Javascript/Typescript and Python. Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- Experience working or interfacing with Generative AI tools
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive
- Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Demonstrated experience building continuous, automated build and deploy pipelines
- Demonstrated experience in conditional procedure of build and deploy pipeline based on security scans of source and artifact
- Capable of working with software development team and platform infrastructure team to provide meaningful guidance to both for code development and deployment
- In-depth knowledge of version control of release artifacts to facilitate upgrade rollout and rollback
- Strong understanding of containerization of web applications, specifically Docker
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with bash shell scripting
Desired:
- Agile, Lean, DevOps, Cloud, Security+ or other professional certification
- Experience with Angular front-end development.
- Understanding and familiarity with container orchestration engines such as K8s (EKS, AKS, GKE, Kops, OpenShift)
- Willingness to learn and improve generative AI skillset
- Team-oriented mindset around innovation and improvement
- Hands-on experience using agile software development methodologies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a cross-functional agile team
- Experience working in a consultant/client environment
