About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing, mission-focused Senior Sales Leader to drive strategic growth and lead enterprise sales efforts into the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). This is a critical leadership position responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, building long-term relationships with key IC stakeholders, and delivering innovative solutions that support national security missions.
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Leading direct sales efforts targeting agencies within the U.S. Intelligence Community, including but not limited to NSA, CIA, DIA, NGA, and ODNI.
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to exceed revenue goals and capture new business across classified and unclassified programs.
- Cultivating trusted advisor relationships with senior government decision-makers, program managers, procurement officers, and integrators.
- Shaping and influencing upcoming requirements and procurement strategies by staying ahead of policy and mission priorities.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Legal, and BD teams to tailor solutions and proposals that meet customer needs and compliance requirements.
- Representing the company at IC-related industry events, forums, and briefings.
- Managing the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification and qualification to proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and close.
- Forecasting and reporting pipeline growth, customer trends, and competitive intelligence to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales, business development, or capture experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community or adjacent national security sectors.
- Demonstrated success in closing large, complex deals involving software, services, or mission-focused technology solutions.
- Existing relationships and a strong network within the IC, including at senior levels.
- Experience navigating the federal acquisition process and contract vehicles (e.g., GWACs, IDIQs, OTAs).
- Deep understanding of IC mission areas, security requirements, and customer culture.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to align company capabilities to evolving customer missions.
- Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring or managing a sales team is a plus.
- Travel required up to 25%. Will require being in office in D.C 50%.
- TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred; eligibility required.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, cyber, data analytics, cloud, or secure communications.
- Background working in or supporting intelligence operations or programs.
- Military or government service within the IC is a strong advantage.
Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is an essential function of this role. The successful candidate will be required to pass both the standard company background check for all employees and an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners conducted in compliance with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (“CJIS”) security policy. Employees in this role may also be subject to ongoing criminal background checks as required by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners. Candidates and/or employees who are not certified by state and local law enforcement to access criminal justice information will not be able to perform the essential functions of this role. Employees who subsequently fail to obtain or maintain CJIS compliance may be reassigned or terminated.
