The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Non-Destructive Test Tech (Experienced or Senior) to join our NDT team in Ridley Park PA.
This position will support NDT processes within the Total Quality team with duties including supporting certification testing, approving new and revised production techniques and conducting audits of NDT processes. In addition, this position will provide team leadership to NDT technicians and support leadership and business need including intermittent travel to additional Boeing locations, supplier sites and industry events as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
Level 3:
Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment. Develops procedures and processes.
Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
Provides feedback on adverse trends.
Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
Conducts certification preparation training.
Level 4:
Guides the development or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques.
Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology.
Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents.
Develops and implements processes and procedures for new or revised non-destructive testing methods.
Audits, validates and approves systems and techniques of suppliers and processors.
Develops certification training and examinations
Level 5:
Advises on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques.
Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment.
Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
NDT/NDI certifications as a level 2 Technician per NAS 410 in Ultrasonic
More than 1 year of experience working with composites
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4: 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 5: 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strate
