Job Description

Background. USAMMDA is the largest Department of Defense's (DoD) medical materiel development activity designed to protect and preserve the lives of Warfighters. USAMMDA develops, modernizes, procures, and fields new drugs, vaccines, medical devices and support equipment that enhances readiness, ensuring the provision of the highest quality medical care to the DoD and maximizing survival of medical casualties on the battlefield.

General. The Contractor shall support the AMLO maintaining the command list of contracts and with the AMLO SharePoint site, to include recommending new process workflows, updating and documenting existing process workflows and templates, and publication of other AMLO related information.

The Contractor shall support the development, review, and updating of the USAMMDA Contract Forecast as well as monitor the status of contract actions from document development through contract award.

The Contractor shall support the AMLO in responding to taskers assigned by the designated suspense date.

The Contractor shall support command CORs completing and updating documentation to allow for access to various government systems.

The Contractor shall support the AMLO and USAMMDA CORs in preparation for contract related inspections/audits, such as OIP and annual KO COR file reviews, as well with the conduct of mock inspections/audits and remediation efforts based on inspection/audit findings.

The Contractor shall support development and review of contract documentation such as Performance Work Statements, Statements of Need, Minimum Essential Characteristics, QASPs, Requests for Information, and Market Research Reports.

The Contractor shall support market research of various government and non-government sources, such as the Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) and General Services Administration (GSA) websites.

The Contractor shall be capable of using written and verbal skills with the ability to work independently. Personnel performing in this task area shall also have the ability to successfully communicate with personnel at various echelons through the use of effective interpersonal and communication skills in addition to managing numerous efforts and effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking requirements.

Additionally, personnel shall have the ability to be aware of, and be sensitive to, information flows that contain items of interest to or that are the action responsibility of the AMLO.

The Contractor shall be capable of using MS Office Suite, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as the MS Outlook calendar in order to schedule multi-person meetings for both personnel internal and external to the Command.

Education: Associates’ Degree
