Key Responsibilities

As our Staff Writer, you’ll support Questex’s success by:

• Writing daily news stories and, over time, longer-form stories.
• Developing the beat and building sources across companies, regulatory agencies, industry experts, and analysts
• Mining government databases, court documents, securities filings, and public sources for stories
• Brainstorming and executing features that engage the Fierce Healthcare audience
• Contributing to our podcast
• Occasional travel to cover key events and industry conferences
• What We Will Love About Your Background
• Minimum 2 years of newsroom experience required; healthcare reporting preferred (other business reporting considered)
• Degree in journalism, communications, writing-intensive major, or industry-relevant field such as business
• Strong writing skills and knowledge of AP style
• Working knowledge of regulatory matters in healthcare
