The Retail & Specialty Pharmacy Supervisor oversees pharmacy operations while working with the contracted specialty pharmacy accelerator vendor and report to the Director of Pharmacy. This role requires a strategic leader to enhance pharmacy services, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality patient care in retail and specialty settings.

Leadership & Management:

• Supervise pharmacy staff, providing training and support to optimize team performance and development.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish and implement pharmacy goals and strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Oversee daily operations of retail and specialty pharmacies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Partnership Management:

• Act as a liaison with contracted Specialty Pharmacy Accelerator vendor, fostering a strong collaborative relationship.
• Coordinate joint initiatives, ensuring alignment of goals and effective communication between teams.
• Operationalize initiatives to expand specialty pharmacy services and improve patient access to medications.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and organizational policies.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high-quality standards in pharmacy operations.
• Maintain specialty pharmacy dual-accreditation (URAC & ACHC) to maintain access to limited distribution drugs.
