POSITION OVERVIEW

The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Fusion Center (OFC) was initiated by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in March 2004 to provide enforcement assistance for the most significant drug trafficking organizations and related crimes. The OFC has expanded its assistance to investigate broader international and domestic organized criminal activity. Since August 6, 2009, ICE has been a member of the OFC and the International Organized Crime Intelligence and Operations Center (IOC-2). The mission of the OFC and IOC-2 is to provide a mechanism to share relevant law enforcement data and actionable intelligence to its member agencies working on coordinated, multi-jurisdictional investigations. This position supports the mission essential requirements of the OFC and the IOC-2, performing analysis and production tasks. You will collect, review, interpret, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources preparing comprehensive customized intelligence reports relevant to identified time-sensitive areas of interest for ICE Government Program Managers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

• Provides specialized intelligence, threat analysis, and production support.
• Accesses and performs research on designated automated intelligence databases for identifying information of interest to the customer, downloading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer.
• Provide intelligence and threat analysis of the information tailored to the customer's requirements.
• Develop documents, summaries, reports, and presentations. Communicate analytical findings in briefings or discussions with customers. Present briefings to key personnel.
• A major portion of this work involves research and report writing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

• 6 years of general experience in intelligence and threat analysis.
• Two years of experience writing Intelligence reports.
• Experience in reviewing intelligence reports, preparing in-depth intelligence reports for senior officials, briefing senior officials, and providing reports and input to intelligence community products.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting IOC-2 and/or OFC
