Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Engineer to be based in New York, NY.

AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Construction Engineer for our Transportation Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO). The Candidates will be working on Transit/Rail and Bridge/Highway Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO).

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Under direct supervision, perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles. 
• Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work. 
• Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments. 
• Spend large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related field
• Valid U.S. Driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with CADD, HCS, Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoades, InSite, and GIS is preferred.
