Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Technical Operations Coordinator / IT Project Manager supporting our Government Client in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions
• Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources.
• Track and document development and architecture
• Direct and coordinate activities related to the design, development, and implementation of web-based software applications within constraints and while ensuring end user business needs are met
• Serve as a liaison as needed to non-technical and technical organizations to communicate development progress, plan system integration testing and execution, investigate and troubleshoot unexpected behavior and anomalies, and identify potential risks to systems operations communicated using different nomenclature and conventions

Required Qualifications

• Have experience identifying system vulnerabilities and recommendmitigating measures for internally developed capabilities
• Have the ability to convey technical services support information effectively and concisely to a wide range of audiences

• Have experience using Windows-based desktop computers and familiarity with theMicrosoft Office Professional Suite of applications, specifically MS Excel, MS Word,and MS PowerPoint

• Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly, or ability to obtain poly prior to start date #qinetiqclearedjob
• Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly
• Current Project Management certification (PMP, CSM, etc.)
• Familiar with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS)
• Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as, AWS Cloud (GovCloud/C2S)
• Expertise in various COTS, GOTS, and open-source tools which support development of data integration and visualization applications
