What we're looking for...

The SAP SAC Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in the development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our SAP Analytics Cloud solutions.  

Collaborating with IT and business analytics teams, this position translates complex business requirements into efficient, high-performing CDS views and analytical queries, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. While experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is beneficial, the primary focus is on data modeling, query optimization, and SAP S/4HANA analytics architecture.

Expectations & Accountabilities ...

• Participate in the entire lifecycle of SAC projects, from requirement gathering and design to implementation and support.

• Architect, develop, and optimize CDS views for enterprise reporting, ensuring high performance and scalability.

• Ensure best practices in CDS development, including annotations, access control, and performance tuning.

• Design and implement SAC solutions to meet business requirements.

• Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver suitable solutions.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity in SAC reports and dashboards.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAC solutions.

• Conduct user training and support user adoption of SAC tools and reports.

• May assist less experienced associates or support training of new associates.

What you'll need to be successful…

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP CDS Views development, including CDS Analytical Queries and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.

• Strong expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and architecture for CDS views and HANA-native reporting.

• Proficiency in SQL, Open SQL, and HANA SQL scripting for query optimization.

• Experience with creating medium complexity models, reports and dashboards in SAP SAC or BO.

• Good exposure with SAC security setup, data locking, currency conversion, planning process. 

• Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data visualization.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Effective communication, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or 8 years equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Qualifications that can set you apart ...
