As a member of the FP&A team at Eyepoint Pharma, you will partner with the organization and be a core contributor in financial forecasting, reporting, systems & analysis for the R&D and G&A functions. This is an opportunity to provide support and leadership on key strategic business initiatives at a time of high growth.

 

This position is reporting to the Director, FP&A and is located at our Watertown, MA site. We offer a hybrid work schedule.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Individual responsibilities

 

• Key FP&A support role for the R&D and G&A functions, which includes the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning
• Partner with functional and department heads to ensure financial information (budget vs. actual) is provided in an accurate and timely manner, present key insights or trends that require attention and enable budget owners to manage their budgets
• Manage monthly close, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning activities including headcount, operating expense and capital investments by working closely with internal and external partners to support strategic planning and operational decision making
• Provide both operational and strategic financial support to help facilitate decision making
• Leverage the Adaptive planning and Netsuite and other tools to enhance our analytical tools and support monthly reporting
• Drive continuous improvement within the finance organization to streamline processes and improve communication and flow of information to the business

 

Qualifications

Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:

 

• Prior biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries experience required
• Strong experience with Adaptive Planning and planning/reporting tools
• Highly proficient in Excel, demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining forecasts and complex financial models

Level of Education Required:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field, MBA preferred

Number of Years of Experience in the Function and in the Industry:

 

• 5+ years of FP&A experience
