Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to the overall direction of quantitative analytical activities,  as well as coordinating business unit operational activities with the help of peers and staff managers.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Senior Fair Lending Analytics Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Identify business needs for analytical support, fair lending testing, and quantitative analysis.
  • Monitor and report on enterprise wide data.
  • Evaluate policy changes and analytic techniques.
  • Perform fair lending statistical analysis to identify and measure fair lending risk.
  • Pull and analyze data using applicable software and assess data quality.
  • Clearly communicate complex information to expert or lay audiences.
  • Test new products and changes to pricing models for fair lending implications.
  • Identify special monitoring that may be required based on routine data analysis.
  • Assist team on fair lending risk assessments and fair lending compliance program reviews.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • 2 years of data analytics and reporting
  • Collaborative team player
  • Superior organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally with different business units
  • Skilled in creating and managing databases with the use of relevant software such as R, Python, and SQL
  • Skilled in AWS Machine Learning tools such as SageMaker

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4 years' experience in data Fair Lending analytics and reporting
  • Financial Institution experience
  • Cross functional work with non-technical colleagues, such lawyers, compliance professionals, and regulators
  • Skilled in Office suite of tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Skills:

  • Expertise in using statistical methods, including: developing and testing hypotheses, using experimental design, and running linear and logistic regressions
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and validating R and Python.
  • Ability to streamline, validate and test analytical processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Skilled in the data visualization in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such Excel, Tableau, R, and Python
