Position Description:

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to join our team. You will work with our engineering teams to shape the future of our products. We are looking for a creative engineering-minded individual, to help us identify market problems. We want someone to help us shape the next generation of embedded authentication; with our product teams across the Identity and Access Management domain; outlining problems and working on building solutions that drive incremental value.   As a Group Product Manager at Okta, you will be supported by a dedicated product team to make your requirements a reality. We have a team of business agility, program, and product experts to ensure you have all the tools to be successful

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Do hands-on research and prototyping of identity solutions and market tests for viability
• Work with our engineering and design team to build actionable requirements
• Build roadmaps that articulate your product direction and strategy 
• Build compelling business cases to support ongoing product delivery efforts 
• Following our PDLC (Product Delivery Lifecycle) to drive a complete vision, while upholding the highest standards in security, architecture, and design.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5 years of experience leading as a Product Manager or Team Lead in Engineering
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or has completed an Engineering Bootcamp program within the same time frame. 
• History building with  IETF/oauth protocols and their application on different identity flows 
• Design of APIs and detailed specifications to enable engineering execution
• Practical experience working data and tools to analyze data. (SQL/BI Tools) 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
• Hands on experience with agile development tools like Jira and Confluence
• People skills to conduct customer interviews
• Ability to travel within US or Canada for customer conversation or research

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$188,000—$282,000 USD
