How you'll contribute
A Certified Surgical Tech, First Assist who excels in this role:
Assist the surgeon during procedures by providing exposure, handling tissue, suturing, and controlling bleeding
Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready and properly handled
Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments and materials efficiently during procedures
Perform preoperative and postoperative duties, including patient positioning, skin preparation, and wound dressing
Ensure compliance with surgical protocols, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate of an Accredited program for Surgical Scub Technicians. Additional requirements include:
- Certified Surgical First Assist certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required within 7 days of hire
Experience
- One or more years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician with CSFA certification required
- Specific knowledge of surgical procedures required
