Facilities Technician

onsemi’s semiconductor fabrication facility in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Facilities Technician to join the team. Our technology enables the next generation of power conversion, accelerating the transition to high efficiency, high power conversion solutions and inspiring new power system architectures.
- Oversees all the facilities and subsystems supporting the fab and responsible for uptime.
- Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC.
- Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.
- Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
- Associates’ degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in similar job function in a semiconductor fabrication facility.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for facilities issues.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $20.14-$35.14/hr. exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
