Booz Allen is seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with servers and desktops, as well as experience managing Windows Operating Systems and automation. This role involves managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

You Have:

• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, including Citrix, VMware, or vSphere

• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including Active Directory, group policy, and file and folder permissions in a secure or enterprise environment

• Experience with server room or data center environments, and server and end user hardware, such as desktop, thin client, or zero client

• Knowledge of STIGs

• Ability to follow guidance to support system compliance

• Ability to assist in managing and maintaining Windows-based systems, including basic configuration, patching, and system monitoring

• Ability to support system deployment, security hardening, and ongoing maintenance of Windows servers within classified networks

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with system administration, or 5+ years of experience with system administration in lieu of a degree

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant Certification, such as Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting web applications and documenting technical processes or troubleshooting steps

• Experience with Splunk, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and Domain Controller technologies

• Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate tasks

• Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP

• Ability to learn and apply technical research to solve problems

• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and leadership in both written and verbal formats

• Ability to collaborate in a team setting

• Possession of strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certification, such as CCNA Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
