Summary
RTX is in the process of implementing the new software, Kinaxis, to achieve synergies and process commonality across the enterprise. The tool is to digitally link demand planning throughout the value stream to enable improved capacity and operational planning. This tool is currently being phased into RTX, starting with Collins (currently in implementation phase), then Pratt & Whitney (current “go-live” in Q1 2025). We’re seeking for a Senior Project Manager (P5) to lead design and testing which is become increasingly active and demanding through implementation 2025-2026 and be the subject matter expert for Spare Parts Forecasting and Planning.
The impact of this project to CE Spares is Kinaxis will replace APO forecasting tool and harmonize the adjacent planning tools.
APO for forecasting at the piece part level. The forecasting algorithms will remain the same. APO is an SAP software that is being phased out.

Key Responsibilities:
To become the CE Spares point of contact and subject matter expert (SME) of Kinaxis Rapid Response (KRR). Drive the organizational understanding, customization, CE Spares forecasting specific testing, training, and go live facilitation and change management to ensure a seamless transition from APO to KRR.
Learn the KRR tool and how it will be utilized across CE Spares Demand Forecasting to become the SME for CE Spares
Participate in and influence the PW specific testing to ensure that KRR supports CE Demand Forecasting best practices, standards, and metrics
Be the lead trainer for CE Spares Demand Forecasting employees to ensure the workforce is functionally capable and ready for go-live. Develop at least 2 additional trainers.
Support the KRR “go-live” that is currently scheduled for 2025
Communicate the project status to all levels of the organization.

Basic Qualifications:
Advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Operations, Engineering or technical discipline; OR Bachelor’s degree and of 12+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Business, Supply Chain and Technology fields preferred.
Experience with technology implementations and large-scale project management.
PMP Certification and experience with Agile, SCRUM, or other PM tools a plus.
Familiarity with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials Management module.
Supply Chain and Demand Planning experience supporting a Manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Aerospace Manufacturing or Aftermarket MRO industry.
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Understanding of CORE/Lean tools (specifically QCPC, VSM, & Process Mapping).
