HIRING SALARY RANGE: $27.00-$32.00 per hour (Hourly pay to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

This is primarily a 1st shift position from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm that supports a 24/7 operation; work hours may vary based on critical business demand.
As the General Maintenance Technician, you will perform many daily duties, including:
Providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the buildings and facilities equipment in a research and development environment.
Working safely with low voltage systems, including electric strikes, sensors, and badge readers.
Analyzing and resolving work problems or assisting workers in solving work problems.
Performing functions of the position safely, including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE.
Performing basic repairs of facility equipment and internal building structure such as walls, doors, ceiling, and floors, eye wash stations, re-lamping of internal/external light fixtures, and cameras.
Documenting findings and actions taken using work order software (EAMS).
Identifying and correcting any safety-related issues and performing independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.
Performing other duties as assigned by Management or Lead.
