About the role

As an HR Generalist at MOS, a Currier Plastics company, you will play a crucial role in managing various human resource functions. You will lead HR at this site to foster a positive workplace environment, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations as well as support the overall Currier HR team in executing HR strategies and initiatives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

·         Recruitment and Onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and conduct candidate sourcing.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training. 

·         Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and promoting a positive work culture.

·         Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal process by providing guidance and resources to managers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

·         Training and Development
- Identify training needs and assist with the development and delivery of training programs.
- Promote ongoing employee development and career growth initiatives.

·         Policy Implementation
- Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in HR operations.

·         HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR databases accurately.
- Prepare reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification Standards:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 3 years of HR experience is required.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, and experience in employee relations is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
