Due to the continued growth of our practice and consistently high demand for quality tax services, we are currently seeking to recruit an associate lawyer to join our corporate tax team.

 Job description

Combining the transactional expertise of a leading, internationally-oriented, law firm with our experience in tax and accountancy services, you will work closely with a group of tax lawyers and economists on corporate direct and indirect tax matters offering our clients comprehensive solutions for complying, managing tax impact and understanding the critical tax considerations of transactions. Furthermore, you will interact with foreign advisors to deliver comprehensive solutions on multijurisdictional assignments, and support tax aspects of an M&A (transactional documentation and tax due diligence).

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law from top-tier university

• Post graduate degree in Taxation
• Legal qualification (Athens Bar admission/ other Lawyers’ Bar)
• 4-5 years post-trainee professional experience in a dedicated tax practice of a Greek or international law firm or an international audit firm

Skills

• Highly motivated and dynamic professional with good business sense and knowledge of corporate taxation
• Keen interest in EU & International tax
• Friendly personality, with strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Organized, resilient with proven ability to handle efficiently and deliver on time multiple tasks
• Excellent level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Personality with high morale and integrity
