Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster<br/><br/>Make a real impact — Are you passionate about communications technology, training, and developing people?<br/><br/>Join Capita on the Selborne programme and play a vital role in preparing the next generation of Royal Navy sailors — delivering modern, high quality Communications training in a stable, shore based role.<br/><br/>This role is ideal if you:<br/>• Former Royal Navy CIS / WE(CIS) / Communications specialists<br/>• Civilian communications, RF, IT, telecoms, or systems engineers<br/>• Technical professionals with hands on experience who want to move into training<p></p><p></p><p><b>Job title:</b></p>Training Delivery Instructor (Navy Communications)<p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p><b>🕒 Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week<br/>📍 HMS Collingwood<br/>🔐 Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.</b><br/> </p><p><b><u>What you’ll be doing</u></b></p><p>As a Training Delivery Instructor, you’ll deliver Communications Systems training to Royal Navy students on Phase 2 and Phase 3 Weapons Engineering courses.</p><p>You’ll:</p><ul><li>Deliver engaging, high‑quality Communications training across the Weapons Engineering Training Group</li><li>Support learners in classroom, simulated and synthetic training environments</li><li>Use performance insight and learner feedback to continuously improve training delivery</li><li>Work closely with Training Delivery and Learning &amp; Development teams to support personalised learning</li><li>Maintain consistent quality and standards across all Communications training</li><li>Contribute to the introduction of new and modernised training as Selborne continues to evolve</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What we’re looking for:</u></b></p><p></p><p><b><u>Essential</u></b></p><ul><li>Practical experience of Royal Navy or equivalent communications systems</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Desirable </u></b></p><ul><li>Previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring or instruction</li><li>A Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to complete one — we’ll support you)</li><li>If you’re technically strong and motivated to develop others, we’ll help you grow into the instructor role.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About Selborne</b></p><p>Selborne is a bold, £1 billion, 12-year transformation of Royal Navy training, led by Capita and a powerhouse consortium known as Team Fisher — including Raytheon UK, Fujitsu, and the University of Lincoln.
