PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Banquet Server will provide excellent customer service to all guests during onsite and off-site events in a timely manner and with a positive attitude.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Provide excellent service to all guests
• Knowledge of the menu in order to provide proper description to guests
• Setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware and glassware; clean and polish silverware / glassware
• Clear and clean all tables, work areas, dining room or other areas utilized according to proper procedures
• Proper handling of all Rich's Catering equipment
• Load & unload catering trucks and/or vans for off-site events
• Able to carry trays of food and beverages
• Perform all necessary side work as directed at the beginning and end of shift
• Bartend and assist bartenders when needs arise
• Proper communication and timely responses for availability and scheduling
• Maintain exemplary food handling and safety and operation practices

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with serving prepared food to customers
• Bartending experience preferred
• Direct customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work various shifts, primarily nights/weekends
• Able to work up to 10+ hours
• Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with the ability to troubleshoot
• Part-time

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Provide excellent service to all guests
• Knowledge of the menu and the structure of the plate; knowledge of wines and the wine list
• Setup of tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware and glassware; clean and polish silverware / glassware
• Clear and clean all tables, work areas, dining room or other areas utilized according to proper procedures; return all equipment to proper location
• Carry heavy trays of food from the kitchen to the dining area
• Perform all necessary side work as directed at the beginning and end of shift
• Assist bartender when need arises
• Maintain exemplary food handling and safety and operation practices

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with serving prepared food to customers
• Direct customer service experience
• Ability to work various shifts including nights/weekends
• Bartending experience preferred
• Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for
