Purpose
Process payment vouchers at the Dana Center as part of the Operations Finance team.
Responsibilities
Process the payment vouchers daily using SmartSheet software requests including Staff Reimbursements, Payment to Vendor, and Service provider. Communicate with the staff, consultant/vendor for the proper documentation (PIF, EICCC, signed invoices, etc.).
Create the Purchase Order or payment voucher in DEFINE (VP1, VP2, VPE) within the Prompt Payment Act guidelines and UT polices. Provide customer service when inquiring about voucher/PO status. Communicate with Office of Accounting and Purchasing to resolve voucher questions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office programs High level of detail orientation, accuracy, and organization. Working with sensitive and confidential information. Effective time management, problem solving skills, maintaining a professional demeanor, and effective communication skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Accounts payable and Smartsheet software. Experience working in DEFINE.
