These products combine modern web application design, large-scale transaction data, advanced analytics, and AI-powered insights to deliver powerful yet intuitive user experiences.

This role sits on the AI Insights team within the North American (NAM) division, a strategic initiative focused on delivering analytics and AI capabilities that help fleet customers reduce costs and operate more efficiently. The team operates in a product operating model, bringing together engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product leaders who work directly with customers to build high-impact solutions.

We are seeking a Senior AI-Native Web Application Engineer who will design and build modern web applications that enable customers to interact with complex datasets, analytics models, and AI-driven insights. This role will play a critical part in launching AI Insights into General Availability and building the next generation of AI-enabled experiences for enterprise customers.

How you'll make an impact

  • Develop modern front-end and full-stack solutions for data-rich applications including dashboards, analytics tools, and visualization interfaces.

  • Build and enhance user experiences that allow customers to interact with large datasets and AI-generated insights.

  • Integrate web applications with backend services, APIs, and data platforms.

  • Partner closely with engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to translate business requirements into high-quality software solutions.

  • Contribute to system architecture, application design, and engineering best practices.

  • Deliver polished user interfaces and workflows that simplify complex data interactions.

  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or similar technologies to accelerate development workflows while maintaining strong ownership of code quality and architecture.

  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative AI-powered product experiences.

  • Help evolve the platform to support future agentic AI experiences and advanced analytics capabilities.

Experience you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • 10+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering high-performance, user-facing web applications.

  • Experience building data-driven web applications, including dashboards, reporting interfaces, or analytics tools.

  • Strong experience working with APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful production software and ship meaningful product features.

  • Strong frontend development experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar technologies.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience working with backend technologies such as Java, Node.js, Python, or similar languages.

  • Experience building applications that interact with data platforms, analytics systems, or large datasets.

  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor, Codex, or similar) to accelerate software development while maintaining strong engineering discipline.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, data, and product teams.

  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in learning about adjacent disciplines such as data science and analytics.

What will give you an edge

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience building and scaling design systems or shared component libraries.

  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and frontend performance optimization.
