Children's will be opening a School of Radiologic Technology in Fall, 2026 and we are currently recruiting for a Program Director, Children's Wisconsin School of Radiologic Technology. The leader in this role will oversee the Diagnostic Radiology Program in accordance with the Joint Review Committee (JRCERT) on Education Programs in Diagnostic Radiology and the Commission on Accreditation of allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) requirements. This leader will be responsible for clinical and didactic instruction, planning and development, direction, and general effectiveness of the Radiology program.
Minimum Job Requirements
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Must be licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Radiologic Technologist.
- CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
Education
- Master’s Degree in associated field of study (can be obtained within 2 years of start date)
- Bachelor’s Degree in radiology or associated field of study.
Experience
- Three (3) years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Proficiency in the areas of curriculum design, program administration/evaluation, instruction, and academic advising, including proficient computer skills.
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills; high aptitude and precision in reading, writing and mathematics.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated leadership, supervisory and managerial skills.
- Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
- Basic computer skills to operate a computer efficiently and effectively. An understanding of Children’s Wisconsin health care delivery system and the impact of other health care delivery system on the patient and family.
