The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. Must have the ability to use measuring and test equipment as required, follow all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations.

This position reports to the VSL – Fiber Web and is part of the Fiber/Web Department located in Deland, FL and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Cross train and/or work on any Fiber/Web equipment as necessary including Leach to meet schedule.
• Work with hazardous chemicals. Understands environmental regulations as they pertain to operating the Industrial Waste Treatment area.
• Maintain an acceptable level of attendance (as measured by the Attendance Policy) and use protective equipment as required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 0-2 years exp.
• Able to perform accurate record keeping and able to use measuring and test equipment.
• Able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum 10 hours.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum 10 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working with Hazardous Chemicals
• Working with environmental regulations
• Working in a heavy manufacturing environment
