The pay range for this position is $15.11-$21.85 based on direct and relevant experience. 

 

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Health Information Assistant to join our team. As a Health Information Assistant, you will be responsible for providing basic administrative and support functions to assist the Health Information/Medical Records team. This is a temporary/casual position working various shifts between the hours of 7:00am-9:00pm, flexible schedule. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Health Information/Medical Records Assistance

1. Assist with insurance company audits as required
2. Review of insurance information being requested
3. Compile all documents being requested, print documents, and fax information to insurance company
4. Notify the business office once information compiled for them to fax billing information to insurance company
5. Scan the request into patient medical record

(10%) Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Required:

1. Minimum of 16 years of age
2. Proficient with computer systems and typing
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel etc.

Preferred:

1. High school diploma, or equivalent
2. One (1) year of direct customer service experience
3. Previous healthcare information/medical records experience
