This is a non-union positionWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Manager, Lands & ROW Projects. In this role, you will provide vision, strategic leadership, and management oversight of the enterprise-wide, continuous improvement of Lands & ROW policies, initiatives, and processes to achieve top quartile Lands and ROW performance for Gas Transmission, Liquids Pipelines, and Major Projects. Here’s what you will do:
Strategic Leadership
participating in the strategic direction and vision as a member of the Lands & ROW leadership team by providing input into the development, articulation and implementation of the vision, goals and objectives.
providing strategic support to Projects and Power leadership.
Project Leadership
Ensure efficient and timely right-of-way support for project teams
Developing the support for the Power Business Unit
Develops best practices, guidelines and procedures to ensure overall compliance and consistency with respect to ROW activities and landowner relations.
Develop and foster positive landowner relations and set up for long term sustainment of landowner relationships after the project is in operation.
Implement ROW strategies, programs and standards to business and operational realities to ensure alignment between philosophies, goals and outcomes:
Responsible for personnel and performance management issues within Lands and Right-of-Way Projects including determination of company and contract staffing levels to address project requirements.
Manages, coordinates and conducts due diligence for potential acquisitions.
Provides necessary support for renewables initiatives
Representing ROW as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by acting as an advisor and participating on or leading internal committees and task forces to facilitate business initiatives, e.g., Lands and Right-of-Way expertise for regulatory and legal matters
People Leadership
Overseeing the resourcing/coaching/mentoring/motivating of a team of +/- 25-50 direct and indirect reports (employees and provisioned contractors) in the fulfillment of program KPIs
Fostering an environment in which continuous improvement of ROW strategies, tools, processes and standards takes place, leading by example and influence in the role of a champion of change in mindsets and behaviors.
Maintaining positive relationships with landowners and third-party stakeholders for US operations

You have the following:
Required:
10 years of progressively responsible and varied experience with Lands and ROW industry experience, and/or Public Affairs - including 3 years of leadership experience demonstrated by program ownership or at the Supervisor or Manager level in complex multi-jurisdictional operations and project environments
Strong analytical acumen, with a proven track record in management, process optimization, stakeholder relationship management
Aptitude and communications skills related to leading and acting independently as a member of the ESR management team, e.g., strategic vision and the ability to analyze complex situations and arrive at timely and effective solutions; ability to attract and retain top talent, and nurture a collaborative, high-performing team-focused approach; high work ethic and able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous setting; ability to work across functional, geographic, and cultural boundaries with ease; flexibility to adapt to frequent shifts in priorities and schedules
