Leads the Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement function, driving CORE transformation, operational excellence, and manufacturing efficiency. Manages a team of Industrial Engineers and partners across Operations, Engineering, and Quality to improve flow, reduce waste, and elevate site performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the Richardson Transformation initiative to achieve world‑class performance across the Program Management Team
  • Meet or exceed all Operations goals, including quality, cost, schedule, and cash flow
  • Develop and execute strategies that improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and overall site performance
  • Drive CORE/CI initiatives and ensure disciplined, sustainable process improvements
  • Oversee organizational development, including coaching, mentoring, and building technical and leadership capability
  • Foster a team‑oriented, accountable culture focused on results and continuous improvement
  • Lead and develop a team of Industrial Engineers responsible for process optimization, layout design, and productivity improvement
  • Optimize manufacturing processes, standard work, routings, labor standards, and material flow
  • Support new product introduction and ensure smooth transition from design to production
  • Conduct time studies, capacity modeling, and cost‑reduction analyses
  • Identify and justify capital investments that enhance capability and efficiency
  • Partner with cross‑functional leaders to align improvement priorities with business needs

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Experience in Operations leadership and planning
  • Strong executive communication skills and executive presence
  • Demonstrated success leading Lean/CORE/CI initiatives
  • Background in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams through change and deliver measurable results
