About the role

We are a mission-driven event marketing and fundraising firm that partners with nonprofit organizations to raise awareness, drive donations, and build community engagement through live events, grassroots campaigns, and experiential activations. Our team is passionate, energetic, and committed to making a real impact.

Role Overview

As a Marketing & Events Trainee, you’ll receive hands-on, paid training to support the planning, execution, and promotion of fundraising and outreach events. This is an entry-level role — no prior experience required — but you will gain exposure to event logistics, community engagement, and cause-driven campaigns. With mentorship and coaching, you’ll build the foundation for a career in event marketing, nonprofit outreach, or campaign coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with event logistics: setup, teardown, staffing, and on-site coordination

  • Represent nonprofit partners and campaign clients at events, activations, and outreach initiatives

  • Engage with the public: share campaign messaging, answer questions, and build positive interactions

  • Support fundraising efforts by encouraging donations, collecting lead information, and sharing mission details

  • Assist with promotional marketing: distribute collateral, set up signage, and maintain branding consistency

  • Track event metrics: gather data on engagement, sign-ups, and overall event performance

  • Help with administrative tasks and maintain internal logs and reports

  • Shadow senior team members for campaign planning, brainstorming sessions, and post-event evaluations

  • Participate in training workshops, coaching sessions, and ongoing development programs

Qualifications / Who You Are

  • Coachable, eager to learn, and motivated to grow in a public-facing role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

  • Flexible schedule — availability for occasional evening or weekend events

  • Outgoing, energetic, and professional demeanor

  • Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Bonus (but not required): Customer service, retail, hospitality, volunteer experience, or coursework related to marketing, communications, or nonprofit work

What We Offer

  • Paid training with hands-on event experience

  • Base pay + performance-based bonuses and incentives

  • Real-world involvement in nonprofit campaigns and community outreach

  • Advancement opportunities into Team Lead, Campaign Coordinator, or Event Marketing Specialist roles

  • Supportive, mission-driven team atmosphere

  • Opportunities to travel locally for events (as needed)

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Make a meaningful impact supporting nonprofit causes

  • Learn transferable skills in marketing, events, fundraising, and community engagement

  • Join a fast-growing team with strong mentorship and room to advance

  • Gain valuable experience for future roles in marketing, public relations, events, or nonprofit work
