Description

In this role, AW Health Care is looking for CNAs or experienced Caregivers that can be on call for 13-hour shifts, 7AM -8PM.  We provide care and support to Independent Living residents located in Cottleville, Ellisville, O'Fallon, and Wentzville, MO.  You must be willing to travel to any of the four locations and be available to work every other weekend. 

CNA/Caregiver Float Schedule: Must be available 2 - 3 weekdays and every other weekend required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle with auto insurance.
• Must have one or more years paid work experience working with the geriatric population or similar care and responsibilities.
• CNA preferred or experienced Caregiver with one or more years of experience
• Current Certified Medication Technician preferred
• Must be willing to work with pets in client's apartments.
• Ability to use gait belt preferred or willingness to learn.
• Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency
• Must have moderate computer and cell phone skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to participate in fast paced floor schedule with a lot of walking and physical activity.
• Ability to work for extended period of time, (13 hour shift) while standing and being involved in physical activity.
• Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
