As a Mobile Branch Channel CDL Driver Lead, you will be within PNC's Mobile Branch Banking organization. You will be based in Dallas, TX.A Mobile Branch Channel CDL Driver Lead is responsible for the safe driving of our Mobile Branch fleet of vehicles, tracking hours as per DOT guidelines, planning trips, routes and coordinating travel ahead of time. This role requires moderate to frequent overnight travel and occasional weekends.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated performing under pressure and strong decision-making skills. Prior driver training experience, understanding of general diesel mechanics, RV systems, and carpentry are also required. Preferred experience with prior client facing customer service, strong interpersonal and written skills, and familiarity of Microsoft suite of software is a plus.
In addition to driving, this role requires the ability to virtually support dedicated teams of bankers who also drive these vehicles acting in a consultative role to trouble shoot issues and assist in getting repairs as needed along with the ability to organize and coordinate maintenance and repairs for a fleet of 22 mobile units spread around the country.
Job Description
- Drives company vehicle and serves as authority of set up and deployment of asset. Safely and efficiently transports vehicle from one location to another. Responsible for overall operation of vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintains driving records and documents for proper filing, Including but not limited, DOT reporting. Also responsible for scheduling all vehicle maintence and repairs.
- Develops and preforms operational training for all functional aspects of the vehicle. Serves as frontline field support for onsite vehicle troubleshooting.
- WORKING CONDITIONS: Drive long distances day and night on all types of roads and in all types of weather, Exposure to noise and vibration, Exposure to dust and diesel fumes, Exposure to hazardous materials shipped and packaged under DOT regulations, Hours may vary due to operational need, Overnight stays may be required for some schedules.
- Requires access to reliable vehicle transportation and ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Additionally, requires the ability to hook-up and break-down vehicle equipment. This activity may require the individual to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in, out of, or under the vehicle.
