Who You Are:
As the Assistant Digital Merchandiser of Digital Commerce & Strategy you will support the global digital flagship store, michaelkors.com, to align merchandise strategies across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce via the online merchandising of the website. You are passionate for retail and driving sales in a fast-paced environment. You are excited to be a part of the Michael Kors’ e-commerce team and seeking an opportunity to develop and grow multi-channel sales on a global level.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and drive the online strategies. Analyze LY data and current market trend to support strategy development coordinating with cross functional teams (buying, digital marketing, email)
- Understand market trends including pricing, style, and key messaging. Use knowledge to make sound recommendations to Buying / Planning teams.
- Drive KPIs such as conversion, average order value, and units per transaction through continuous improvement to website navigation and presentation of product.
- Responsible for all aspects of the product life cycle inclusive of getting products live on time and in full working cross functionally with the product set up team.
- Consistently troubleshoot product not on site, missing information, inaccurate copy details and photography on a lobal scale.
- Drive the digital linking strategy for on-site and email marketing assets.
- Complete thorough QA of all refresh, email, and special project initiatives as well as supporting where needed on daily site walks.
- Create trend shops based on seasonal strategies and serve up recommendations for ad-hoc shops as an avenue to drive product sales.
- Constantly optimize the mobile and desktop navigation, filters and on site search.
- Drive a strong visual presentation of product sequenced within categories, presenting to cross functional teams.
- Review weekly business reports to identify opportunities for maximizing selling through merchandising on website.
- Compile seasonal Hindsight’s to share out to cross functional partners as well as leadership team.
- Support the Digital Merchant in the day to day running of the categories online inclusive of preparing reports and briefs for larger meetings.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 1-3+ years’ experience in an e-commerce environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize large amounts of work to meet hard deadlines
- Experience in using site merchanding systems like Salesforce, Endeca, Oracle ATG
- Exposure to site analytics tool, such as Adobe Omniture, Coremetrics or Google Analytics
- Strong PC and MS Excel skills
- Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week
- Receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for this position, subject to applicable exemptions

Compensation Range:
