Job Title: Appian developer
Location: Malvern, PA

Job Description:
Capgemini is seeking an Appian developer who will lead the full lifecycle of Appian implementation - including designing overall application, defining application structure, testing and production implementation - to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain user documentation for Appian applications, including design documents, development guidelines, and user manuals.
  • Deploy Appian applications to production environments, following standard processes for release management and version control.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for applications, including solving issues, implementing enhancements, and addressing user feedback.

Required Skills:

  • 8-10 years of experience in development of enterprise-level web applications using an object-oriented technology stack (6 years with Appian).
  • 4 years of experience in managing a team of developers.
  • Experience in developing on J2EE platforms, RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
  • Good logical and analytical reasoning ability.
  • Process optimization and modernization should be focused area,
  • Hands-on experience on Appian BPM platform primarily on Appian custom plugins, SAIL, CDT, process, and interface design.
  • Understanding of Appian architecture which includes logging and engine processing is must.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL scripting. Query Optimization and Db enhancement skills are must.
  • Experience translating business process software requirement specifications into Appian process model, prototypes and solutions.
