Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Building and executing an AI/ML roadmap for our HealthCare Analytics platform
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (Red/Blue and purple) in developing and implementing comprehensive security measures for AI/ML initiatives, focusing on cloud security, iOS/Android/mobile app security, CrowdStrike, and endpoint security.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives related to AI/ML projects and cloud-based environments.
- Utilize strong financial and negotiation skills to effectively manage third-party supplier relationships, including vendors providing cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Lead B2B negotiations with external partners and vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms for cybersecurity products, services, and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish cybersecurity requirements and specifications for AI/ML models, cloud infrastructure, and mobile applications.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction on cybersecurity initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of cyber awareness within the organization by conducting training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns on cybersecurity best practices.
- Oversee the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans for AI/ML projects and cloud-based environments.
- Lead incident response efforts in collaboration with internal teams and external partners to mitigate cybersecurity threats and minimize impact on business operations.
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards relevant to AI/ML initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation of cybersecurity controls, risk assessments, and compliance frameworks for AI/ML projects and cloud-based environments.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and mobile ecosystems, and recommend proactive security measures.
- Provide executive-level reporting and presentations on cybersecurity posture, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills, leadership abilities, and cybersecurity expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cybersecurity capabilities, processes, and methodologies across the organization.
Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, IT project management, business degree with a cybersecurity major, computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
- Proven record of accomplishment demonstrating the ability to work with business and digital teams, to understand the key strategy, design relevant and effective cybersecurity protocols that deliver significant business impact.
- A degree in Engineering, IT Project management, Business innovation, Computer Science, or a related qualitative field.
- Proven record of success in building cybersecurity infrastructure in an organization or building cybersecurity awareness within an organization
- Coding skills, JavaScript, python.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform like Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience training people with non-technical wording on cybersecurity matters.
- A self-starter who is self-motivated, disciplined, self-assured, performance driven and passionate about digital, cybersecurity, AI, data and its role in transforming businesses.
