How You’ll Make an Impact
A QA Inspector will have a detailed knowledge of aerospace inspection techniques, customer specifications, and a dedication to being part of a world class manufacturing team.
What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing QA Inspector:
- Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location.
- Preferred shift time is Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Other shift times may also be available.
- Inspects aerospace machine parts and assemblies using coordinate measuring machines running PC-DMIS software.
- Conducts conventional inspection to engineering requirements using height gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and other standard inspection methods.
- Responsible for first part buy off, final inspection, first article reports, rejection tags, and supplier non-conformance notifications.
- Examines manufacturing plans, engineering documents, and drawings to determine product requirements per ASME Y14.5 specification.
- Trouble shoots and problem solves machining processes when necessary.
- Prints and follows inspection staging requirements.
- Buys in material, standards, and parts.
- Prepares and completes first articles per AS9102.
- Operates CMM.
- Ensures documents are kept up to date.
- Completes all daily record keeping requirements.
- Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Available to work a full-time position with pre-determined shift times.
- Inspects aerospace machine parts and assemblies using coordinate measuring machines running PC-DMIS software.

Required Attributes:
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications including Catia and Enovia.
- Detailed knowledge of inspection techniques, measuring, and trigonometry.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize activities within an environment of fast-paced periods of competing deadlines and fluctuating workload.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
Preferred attributes:
- Two years’ experience as a QA Inspector in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with CMM, geometric tolerances, record keeping, and use of various types of precision measuring equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and MRP systems.
