This is your opportunity to join the Receiver, Exciter, & Back End Processing (REBEP) Department as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. The department’s primary goal is to design, develop, and support land and sea-based radar systems. We are looking for a unique engineer to enhance the sustainability of our current radar products. The ideal candidate will have experience in legacy radar hardware and software technologies, with an interest and ability to transition these products to current technologies while maintaining and troubleshooting and patching our deployed systems.

What Will You Do

• Lead sustainment of legacy radar systems, to involve troubleshooting, maintenance, and patching.

• Port legacy Unix tools to modern Linux or identify replacements.

• Support software integration, testing, and verification.

• Assist in proposal writing.

• Frequent travel to other Massachusetts locations.

• This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Marlborough, MA.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ of prior work experience.

• Embedded C/C++ experience.

• Experience developing on Linux/Unix platforms.

• Experience working with RF hardware.

• Radar domain experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience testing RF hardware.

• Experience using version control systems.

• Experience developing in MATLAB.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
