You will provide support all across the Technology programs and R&amp;D projects. You will report directly to Global Technology Manager for Power Transformers.</span></p><p><span>Candidates will be required to travel up to 20% (globally) based on R&amp;D team's needs.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>How you'll make an impact</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Reference expert to different global and regional R&amp;D teams, providing support to the execution of the yearly roadmap targets.</span></li><li><span>Provide proposals for future development of Transformers Technology and assess technology feasibility of new ideas for development.</span></li><li><span>Support remotely and/or in person the investigation of failures.</span></li><li><span>Provide training to less senior engineers and properly document their own knowledge.</span></li><li><span>Revision and/or creation of Technical Standards.</span></li><li><span>Prepare technical reports of R&amp;D projects.</span></li><li><span>Support factories on the review and testing of complex and/or novel transformers.</span></li><li><span>Identify potential Intellectual Property needs among the outcomes of the Technology programs.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Your background</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Successful study (Bachelor or Masters) in Engineering or similar.</span></li><li><span>Not less than 20 years of proven experience and knowledge in Power Transformers</span></li><li><span>Technology.</span></li><li><span>Willing to work in a remote and diverse environment.</span></li><li><span>Willingness to travel to meet R&amp;D teams when needed.</span></li><li><span>Good communication and presentation skills.</span></li><li><span>Fluent English.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>More about us</b></p><p><span>We offer you the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.</span></p><p></p><p></p><h2>Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
