About the Department:
The Finance team is an international group of financial professionals dedicated to supporting our global business, protecting company assets, and providing strategic analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support the company’s objectives. The team plays a critical role to ensure the company’s long-term financial health and sustainability by managing resources, optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across international operations.

The department is comprised of several teams, which include the below:
 

  • Accounts Payable: Manages vendor payments and employee expense reporting, ensuring accuracy, contract compliance, and strong financial controls.

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting: Maintains global financial records with precision, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, accuracy, and transparency in reporting.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Provides strategic insights through budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis to drive informed decision-making.

About the Role:

The Seasonal Accounts Payable Coordinator will work closely with other members of the AP team to ensure timely payment to our global hotel partners and vendors during our peak season. The main responsibilities of this role include thoroughly auditing and processing a high volume of invoices, and ensuring clear communication with our vendors in regard to payment status or any potential discrepancies. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to start their career in Finance with a keen eye for detail.

What You'll be Doing:

  • You'll work efficiently to audit a high volume of invoices from first class hotels and restaurants around the world.
  • You'll communicate with hotels and vendors regarding payment status & potential discrepancies.
  • You will process invoices into the accounting system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • You'll ensure that electronic backup files are compiled and organized for payment review and approval.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Fast learner, and strong ability to learn new systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively engage with team members and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

Work Environment: 

  • This is a 6 month seasonal position, starting in July
  • On-site, Berkeley, CA
  • 4 days in-office
