Senior UX Designer

We are looking for a designer who brings strong interaction and interface skills and enjoys working across teams. In this role you will responsible for evolving defined parts of the Nofence app experience and work closely with other product lead application teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end journey. You will bridge user needs and business objectives, using rapid iteration and user feedback to guide decisions. This role is senior which means working closely as a UX lead, Product mangers and a Engineering leads, contributing to decisions and help shaping the direction of crucial parts of the application. <br/><br/>Nofence is where passion meets the field, are you ready to bring your energy to our dynamic team?<strong></strong></p><h4><strong>About the role</strong></h4><h5>The main responsibilities for this role will be:</h5><ul> <li><strong>App UX feature operation:</strong> Contribute to the user experience for defined features in our main app. Work closely with UX lead, Product Manager and engineers to set the vision, outcomes, and roadmap for this area, and ensure it fits well with the rest of the app.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Application collaboration:</strong> Work with other Application teams to align patterns, coordinate releases, and remove seams between journeys. Share insights, resolve dependencies, and contribute to a consistent experience across the app.</li> <li><strong>Interaction design:</strong> Create engaging, intuitive interfaces and flows. Move from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity prototypes and ready-to-build specifications.</li> <li><strong>Collaborative problem solving:</strong> Work closely with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to tackle complex design challenges and deliver feasible solutions that meet user needs.</li> <li><strong>User-centered design:</strong> Plan and run discovery, concept tests, and usability evaluations. Use findings to inform prioritisation, iteration, and acceptance criteria.</li> <li><strong>Design system stewardship:</strong> Contribute components and patterns to our design system and help Application teams adopt and evolve them.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder engagement:</strong> Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and user insights with clarity. Ensure shared understanding and buy-in for your domain's direction.</li> <li><strong>Service design mindset:</strong> Bring a service design way of thinking to all products and services we touch, considering the full end-to-end journey, support, and operations.</li> </ul><p></p><h4><strong>About you</strong></h4><h5>The right candidate is preferred to have the following qualifications:</h5><ul> <li>Relevant degree/diploma/certificate in Design, HCI, or equivalent. </li> <li>Proven experience in interaction design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on digital products.</li> <li>Exceptional design skills with a deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.</li> <li>Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma is a must.</li> <li>Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to partake in workshops and design sprints that drive collaboration and innovation.</li> <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in design, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.</li> <li>Fluent English oral and written communication skills.
