Schedule: Part-timeAt Highland Park Animal Hospital, we provide comprehensive veterinary services and emphasize both exceptional patient care and team collaboration. Our hospital offers exposure to many aspects of veterinary medicine, including:

• Preventative and wellness care
• Non-routine and emergency care
• Soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
• Dentistry
• Internal medicine
• In-house laboratory diagnostics
• Laser therapy
• Ultrasonography and radiology
• Orthopedic procedures including TPLO and fracture repair
• FHO and MLP procedures
• Endoscopy
• Grooming and boarding services

This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in pre-veterinary studies, veterinary technician programs, or animal care careers to build foundational experience.

Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will support the medical team and help ensure a clean, safe, and efficient hospital environment.
Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily hospital operations
• Cleaning and maintaining kennels and hospital areas
• Supporting patient care under veterinary supervision
• Assisting with patient restraint during exams and procedures
• Administering vaccines and medications as directed
• Cleaning and treating wounds
• Monitoring patient comfort and safety
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
