The Regional Director is responsible for achieving all Company goals and initiatives through effective leadership of the regional team. The position ensures the integrity of the brand and maintains the professional presence and confidence needed to command attention and influence others. The Regional Director capitalizes on opportunities and takes independent action to achieve results. Establishes excellent partnerships with all critical corporate staff and reports directly to the VP of Operations. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the regional team.
Key Competencies & Responsibilities:
- Member Experience Management
- Model and promote a high-energy, welcoming member experience.
- Utilize feedback, site visits, and surveys to address service gaps and recognize successes proactively.
- People Leadership & Development
- Directly lead, coach, and develop Managers to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Drive succession planning, talent development, and ongoing performance conversations.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of Managers and key staff.
- Cultivate an inclusive, people-first culture that reflects the company’s core values.
- Operational Execution
- Ensure that all clubs operate in alignment with brand standards, compliance protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Drive accountability for operational excellence across cleanliness, equipment, service, and staff presentation.
- Maintain an in-club presence 80% of the time to support hands-on leadership and performance reviews.
- Business Performance
- Full ownership of P&L for the assigned region, driving revenue, controlling expenses, and ensuring financial health.
- Use data and KPIs (including Cumulative BC%, member sentiment, and labor performance) to identify trends and opportunities.
- Partner with the Facilities and Corporate teams to ensure proper upkeep and improvement of club assets.
- Strategic Thinking & Communication
- Translate company priorities into actionable club-level goals.
- Communicate expectations clearly and consistently and support execution through effective planning.
- Create alignment between field execution and corporate initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of retail experience managing multiple units, P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service preferred.
- 10+ years of multi-unit, high volume, complex business leadership, retail preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead the execution of strategic initiatives through others while managing competing priorities; drive results, and build high-performing teams.
- Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations, and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- College degree preferred
